The apostle Peter begins 1 Peter with these words to the scattered persecuted believers in Asia Minor. “Not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has his eye on each one of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus” (the Message Bible). To this group, Peter gives instructions for living in Christ and enduring persecution empowered by the Spirit’s sanctifying work.
Please won’t you join us as we seek to understand how believers IN persecution remain hopeful IN Christ and faithful to the Spirit IN them.
